If it had a playlist function it would be my default movie player now. Despite these shortcomings, given the video playback quality and the handy AirPlay controls, this is a great beta release. The player window controls got stuck sometimes and did not fade out, and the progress indicator (a distractingly large bright blue) didn't always line up with the length of the file playback. Please be open about what is going on here. And, since the app quits when the window is closed, this is basically at every movie file start. As Trance points out, it does phone home at every launch.
